a rosie view

Why do people get so ruffled when this woman talks?? Why are people who apparently have big things going on in life spending time feuding about her comedic viewpoint on a television show called THE VIEW??? I have been home too long, for I seek out the drama. I pick it apart. I observe it and ultimately I laugh.
I do agree that Rosie can be a little chatty about her sexual orientation, pretty much every episode of the View will remind us that she is indeed a lesbian. That is old news, who cares, she has a beautiful wife and children, she talks about them too. The point is she speaks honestly about herself and there is freedom in that, she has been a voice and a rolemodel to others. I watch her and see her as a little girl growing without a mother and imagine she has some need for positive strokes. But do we kid ourselves by saying that this is just to get positive responses from others? It really makes her vulnerable and as a celebrity vulnerability is not always managed well.
I just had to say that this woman opens her mouth and boy, do people listen... they get riled up, they bash her in the media and some send her hate mail daily. I would absolutely crumble going into my blog day after day to people ripping me apart and calling me indespicable names, that really irritates me. I think if you do not like someone (who by the way is not really in your life) then do not give them your time! Do not watch her on tv, do not visit her website, GROW UP. I do not always agree with every point she makes and I do think she is opinionated, but she does represent the people in a way too. I have always been a Rosie fan and will continue to quietly cheer for her to speak her mind as she has a right to do...it teaches others, who do not know they have that right, that they can too.
