I have got to say that I have watched some kiddie shows in my day but this one is probably my absolute fave!! They just keep getting better and better. Okay, so Colin spends a lot of time while I blog away just tugging at my shirt and sitting on my lap or playing on the floor or exersaucer beside me... and the song I have added here is just a little gift for him. (((((Thanks Colin, for letting Mommy get a couple of minutes every now and then!!!)))))
The thing is that this ends up making me smile as much as he does. To watch my little guy instantaneously react to a song and go into baby dance mode is just way too funny!!! He does the same thing whenever the show comes on TV. He and Madelyn are two of their newest fans! Sadly, so are their mamas!! When I searched them on Youtube I was surprised to see just how many other little ones had same response... I wonder if there is a nick jr. brainwashing going on?? Targeting every preschool aged child to stand and rock or bob, however they can manage to dance... eyes fixed to the screen.... hmmm, instead of a fan... what if Colin and Madelyn are the Backyardigans newest victims? or newest cult members?! lol, I can see it now, the tots will take over and they will meet in the closest backyard to plot against us... beware of little clones... Tasha, Uniqua, Austin, Tyrone and Pablo... this Mom is onto you. And you thought you could mask your deviance with colourful cuteness... hahaaaaaaahaa!!

Laurel you know how we think alike....I wrote about our back yard friends yesterday too. When I went into your blog and the song came on Madelyn came speeding over as fast as her little hands and knees would let her. And she did her little boogy dance.
