isn't he the sweetest little thing?

Okay, so I now know that Colin is not particularly shy!!
We had a mall excursion today with Auntie Carrie and Madelyn, good times and shopping as usual. They left to get home in time for Emily and the funniest thing happened...
Colin who has decided that napping in the stroller is the only way to nap awoke happy as he could be. We decided to have a seat in the lounge area while waiting for our next bus... and in the next chair was a woman. She was older, but not too old (maybe early 60's). She spoke with a scottish accent and was dressed nicely. Allowing Colin out of the stroller to stretch and play before I bundled him up, he stood at my side and immediately began to stare at her. He was mesmerized for some reason and when she noticed, she said hello to him. When he gave a smile she said "Isn't he the sweetest little thing!" Well, Colin proceeded to walk over to her and smile and flirt his way right onto her knee!! He was still staring away at her and laughed and smiled the whole time. We chatted and I learned that she was from Port Colbourne visiting her daughter and granddaughters who were shopping while she took a break. She sang a little song to Colin to which he responded with glee (for Round and round the garden is one of our recent favourite songs, coincidence... hmmm)
I was surprised to say the least... I had never seen Colin invite himself onto a person before, a stranger at that. It was like he knew who he was looking at. The three of us laughed and shortly after her family returned we parted with of course, one last snuggle. I was still amazed, did not have a clue where this was coming from!! She thanked Colin for a wonderful visit and off she went. I wished someone else was witness to what I saw this afternoon, it was surreal... I do believe that Colin may have been reunited with someone he knew from another time?
And if I do say so myself.... he IS the sweetest little thing!
