baby legs

I am feeling quite proud of myself this day!!!! I sewed a pair of baby legs for Colin (had to do it by hand as I do not have a sewing machine). Woohoo! This is big, if you know me! Any time I make something I get really excited! The pic here is from a baby leg site... I would post a pic of Colin if only I had a digital camera.... mom? hehee, I cannot wait for it, I know it is coming!

These little leg warmers are so very cute, and keep his knees from getting rug burn. Another something I learned from Moms I chat with on-line... tks Megan! and Micki for the instructions of how to make them out of women's knee socks. I whipped them up in no time. I am on the hunt for some funky socks!

I thought Colin might try to pull them off but he has been walking around with them on all morning! They are so cute with a onesie! His are grey, black and orange stripes, I really want some skull and cross bone socks!

Note to my mother.... we may need to teach Laurel how to sew with a machine! (Easy little stuff) I will have to go back to work just to finance my crafty hobbies!

Good Job Laurel!!! I'm proud of you, there is a seamstress in you after all! You have to start somewhere, and kids are the best little models! As one who never sews clothing, only clothes for my furniture and windows, I am very impressed! I will be on the lookout for some funky socks to add to colin's wardrobe, that's for sure!Love your sis, Kryt
