Oooh my, Brown eyed boys!

That song is one of my faves! (I know I changed the gender, my blog, my prerogative)
I am a eye observer! I notice people's eyes, colour, shape, life wrinkles, and what they "say". I see in my boys their own characters shining through the eyes. All of them have brown eyes, but all of them are unique too...
Joshua.... those eyes like frying pans, God, I love 'em!! Josh has Nanny's eyes and that is something pretty special! They are darkest, dark brown and seem to reveal depth. There is a brooding in them, a seriousness in his stare, his eyes show me a thinker, and that is my Joshie!! His eyes probably turned a day after he was born! They did not stay blue at all, he was a deep thinker even as a wee babe.
Aidan.... the chocolatey brown eyes of his father, the first time I looked into them I saw the resemblance. Aidan has happy eyes. He has smiling eyes. They are framed with spectacular long lashes and hold joy in them. When a tear grows in his eye, it is frozen for what seems like an eternity, and the biggest tear will drop... so much drama! And that sure is my Aidan!
Colin.... ah, my last chance at hazel. I must concede and admit that these are turning into Daddy's brown eyes too!! My doe eyed baby boy. Your eyes are still taking form, as a little face changes so much in the first months. I am excited to look upon you every morning and right now in your eyes I see the love you have for me. I see innocence and mischief. To be honest, it can sometimes be difficult to get to the eyes when I look at you.... I am so easily lost in that beautiful dimple!! As your character continues to develop it will be interesting to see what else I can see in your eyes. When I look real heard... I see a little bit of green, but it may just be wishful thinking.
