Went out to dinner and a hockey game with a wonderful treasured old friend, Laura last evening. We sure can talk up a storm! The hours flew by and we got a chance to catch up on things yet again. This outing was without children... the best way to really get a chance to talk about US and not just the babes! We talked in the car, we reminisced over a drink, we got serious during our dinner, we laughed in the car again, we watched Josh on the ice and still kept talkin away.... I really needed this!
We talked about kids and the funny stories that come from them, we talked about our families as we always catch up on who is how and doing what, we talked about old friends and old flames, we talked about some things that I really do not talk much about to other people.
I cherish this friendship and am grateful beyond the sky that we reconnected last year. Now that Laura lives out of town we make the most of our short visits... ge to the heart of the matter and excavate our girly and womanly thoughts! That is what us SSW types do best after all!
