It really was a super Saturday! Joshua's team did win the championship game! A hard fought game brought them a 2-1 victory over the Sabres. Lawfield Bantam Bruins of 2006-2007 really put a lasting memory in my boy's heart.... and in mine too. It was a good season, and he got to wrap it up by carrying the cup around for a victory lap on the ice.
I cried, Aidan cried and yes, Josh said he welled up too. Colin slept through the last period nestled on Grandma's lap. Josh revelled in the proudest moment of his young life and deserves to float on his little cloud today. He worked his blue butt off out there!!
Way to go Jockstrap! My, how you fill my heart with joy!!
