the insight of a six year old

There are some questions a mom just cannot answer. Some things even I do not know for sure. At times like this, I say, go with what feels right!

After a family focused afternoon and evening, while getting in our usual cuddle time before bed, Aidan comes out with a doozy!

Aidan... "Is it all just gonna happen this way again?"

Me... "What?

Aidan... "Like, after we all die, are we just gonna start our family and do this all the same way over and over again?"

Me... "I do not know, to tell you the truth, Nay. Maybe we just live together forever in Heaven?"

Aidan... "Maybe? But maybe we come back here too?"

Me... "You could be right, we don't know the answer to that."

Aidan... "Yup, only God knows for sure!"

Me... "Yep! He knows the whole story for everyone's lives!"

Aidan... "He even knows you are gonna be my Mom forever... so we must be coming back again when we die!"

Me... "I would not mind doing this over and over again!"

Aidan... "Me neither."

Mommy be blessed. Thanks to our knowing God, I got to be here at least one time with these small angels in my home. There is Heaven on Earth is all I can say!
