I wonder what 36 feels like? I am about to find out..... goodbye to 35! Today is my birthday. We celebrated with my family on the weekend, and it was a great party. I had many messages and emails to wish me a happy day from some cherished friends... some of whom I have not even met in person. Mike gave me a huge wraparound hug before I went to bed last night and said "Happy birthday" over and over until I finally just walked up stairs.
I woke up feeling sick, headaching, ear foggy, glands swollen, throat so sore and scratchy... this is not how I had planned to spend my day!!!! I am going to lay on the couch since Colin has already eaten and gone back to sleep. I will hope to feel better in an hour. Can I will myself healthy? Do I get another birthday wish???
I want to get out in the world today.... I want to smile for no reason. I want to soak in the world around me and just feel at home in it. I want to play and be silly with my little boy. I want to let tears of gratitude fall where they may.... and I am gonna get out and do this today!!!
