My baby is now officially 5 years old. A little hard to believe... I can look back just a couple pages in this blog to see him as a wee babe. Yesterday we had a Superhero party to honour our Colin... and what fun!! All the kiddies came dressed up... Spiderman paid us a visit... and I now have oodles more little action figure dudes to step on. It is great to share my birthday month with Colin... but nice for him to have a party that he does not have to share with his mother too. He was very particular with choosing his guest list, considering what to add in the loot bags... and then excited at the prospect of all of his friends coming over to HIS house for the afternoon. I loved planning this party for him. I put lots of energy into all the little details.. but that is just a me thing to do. Aidan asked me later last night if this would be something that Colin would remember when he got older.... to retain the memories from when he was 5... I did not know the answer to that... but I do know, that like my boys birthdays before this one... Mommy would never forget the joy in celebrating another anniversary of his birth!

Cool Birthday Super Mom! I'm sure that this is one birthday that Colin will probably remember for a long time.
I love to see how you try to make things special for all of your kids. You always try to give them something special. Not just in gifts, but in the things you do with them and the way you treat them.
You really are a Super Mom and your kids are pretty Super too.
